Thank you for your interest in modding NOCTIUM! We really appreciate it.

Please review the following for an idea on what to expect as a mod:

RUNDOWN

Your primary role will be helping out with writeups for events and TDMs. We won't be asking you to write up whole posts for every event but we will look into a rotation system so each mod contributes when events roll around!
Events are broken down into FOUR parts and include at least TWO prompts in each. Parts can be divided among different mods (either two to three individuals. Discussion and communication is highly recommended). This can be flexible depending on the nature of the event, such as whether it's smut or fluff-focused, gen, plot, etc. Each part overall ranges from around 300 to 500+ words, depending on the content of the prompts.
Events will need proofreading/revising/editing, images, and be finalized (ideally 1-2 days before posting).
Monthly Summaries go up on the 1st of the month by 8pm and will detail brief descriptions on what to expect from the month's events (such as what kind of plot, smut or gen prompts, etc).
Activity Rewards are approved by the 1st of the month with no real time-of-day requirement. Code template will be visible to those with access to the mod account.
Setting Engagements are checked one to two times a week, with no time-of-day requirement. If you are not sure how to respond, ask Neon who usually handles those.
FAQ is checked, with no time-of-day requirement. Reach out to the Mod e-mail if you require any assistance or would rather direct a question to us.
Moderators are given access to the helper account first, and then the main mod account.

LOGISTICS

Administrative access will be granted to all communities, including the Applications, Received Applications, Reserves, Activity Check, and Taken pages.
While you do not have to assist in processing applications, it would be appreciated. Applications are coordinated through Google Spreadsheets, where each judge can edit and select the applications they wish to process. Because of this, an e-mail account will be required in order to be a mod!
Mods should maintain reliable contact with each other. If you are experiencing extenuating circumstances or an emergency, please communicate this so that we may delegate tasks accordingly.
Our preferred method of contact is through e-mail and Google Hangouts (you can reach out to Neon or Badger respectively). If necessary, we may be able to set up a Discord, though!
It is not necessary to disclose your identity to the game, but you won't be required to be hush-hush about your role, either.

TASKS

Right now, the following tasks are the ones we need help with the most:

Writeups for the events (which are split up into 4 parts with 2 prompts each and can be relegated to different people)
Proofreading posts before they go live
Responding to Setting Engagements
Answer FAQ comments
Processing Activity Rewards by the 1st
(Optional) Judging Applications, which are done via Google Spreadsheets
Plotting posts go up on the 10th by 5pm*
Log posts go up on the 12th by 8pm*

*Game runs on EST!
